Following work on the book Salmon Creek in 2002, I began doing small watercolour studies in my studio. Pebbles, shells, fallen maple leaves...I found myself getting lost in these small meditations on the natural world. I continue to explore these subjects and for a time was a member of SONSI - Southern Ontario Nature and Science Illustrators - where I enjoyed the companionship of other enthusiasts and inspiring artists.
